ACHERON sign with HELLS HEADBANGERS

Acheron signs recording deal with Hells Headbangers! After disbanding in 2018, band founder Vincent Crowley decided to revive Acheron once more and perform select shows in 2025. The reaction from fans was so overwhelming that it sparked the unholy flame to have him start writing material for his devilish war machine once again.

After 37 years of the band’s existence, Acheron wanted to return on a record label that not only represented true underground metal, but one that actually supported the group and would supply an appropriate recording budget to give the album a quality sound. And they found just that!

In mid/late 2025, the Horval brothers at Hells Headbangers approached Crowley about doing the next Acheron album on their label. Vincent, having a lot of respect for the label and already being friends with Justin Horval, who also featured several interviews with him on J-Dawg’s Dead By Dawg channel via YouTube, was very interested in this proposal. Both parties reached an agreement for the band to join their impressive roster. Now, Acheron is planning to hit the studio in 2026 and unleash more unholy and blasphemous tunes.

Aevum Luciferi is the intended title of the future album. A full-blown Satanic assault of darkness, blasphemy, misanthropy, anger, and the occult! A mixture of music inspired by over three decades of Acheron releases. A few of the songs that will be featured are “God Can’t Save You,” “Holy Vileness,” “Aevum Luciferi,” and “Herd the Black Sheep.” It will also feature Acheron members/musicians Art Taylor, Eric Stewart, and Cody Johns, who have all been part of Acheron in some capacity in the past.

Stay tuned! Acheron is also playing Dead By Dawg 2 Fest in Cleveland, Ohio, 2026! And for now, make sure to pick up some official Acheron merchandise at Hells Headbangers. When you need metal, go to HELL!
