America’s BURNING DEATH set release date for debut

Caligari Records announces December 5th as the international release date for the striking debut album of America’s Burning Death, self-titled Burning Death, on CD format: Self-Titled | BURNING DEATH | Caligari Records

Formed in 2021, Burning Death is an evil thrash outfit from the spiritual wasteland of Nashville, Tennessee. Consisting of veterans in the local metal scene, the power-trio of Ethan Rock, Jerry Garner, and Gore came together to create blistering riffs and spew anti-Christian venom with murderous, even genocidal rhetoric towards the divine and faithful alike. Whereas Rock and more recently Garner in Act of Impalement have delved into an increasingly bestial style of death metal, Burning Death instead explore ancient corridors of ’80s-rooted thrash, drawing from the infernal output of various Teutonic blasphemies – from the Big Three to later gods like Desaster and Nocturnal – as well as early Slayer during their hellish Metal Blade years along with the sword-singing spells of Japan’s Sabbat and diabolic possession of South American legions past and present.

No more but definitely no less, Burning Death’s self-titled debut album is the infernal combustion of said influences: old reverence paid, and new blood spilled. Ripping-death riffs, straightforward rush of rhythm, evil snarls to quick falsetto wails into the abyss, solos that expurse sodomy…Burning Death is ancient EVIL THRASH by definition, in defiance, with antagonism. The more things change, the more Burning Death stay the same, flying the flag of hate and singularly minded in expelling sonic vitriol, encasing their ageless metal wisdom in an appropriately gritty but never-messy production. A swift ’n‘ salacious half-hour, their debut album RIPS right from the beginning, gets in and gets out, and compels repeat plays as the witching hour approaches: you’ve been warned as Hell awaits!
