Simon Weinrich comments: „We wrote ‚Threatening‘ as the first song after the release of ‚Grandmother‘, our previous album“, the guitarist, synth player, and singer explains. „The soundscapes that made up ‚Grandmother‘ are still very much audible in this song, which makes it the perfect musical bridge towards ‚Aion‘.“
