GRÀB comment: „Regarding the lyrics of ‚Vom Gråb im Moos‘ (‚About the Grave in the Moor‘), the song is my tribute to the famous German author Otfried Preußler, who is best known for his children’s books“, vocalist and lyricist Grànt explains. „His stories inspired many of my childhood fantasies and I regard his works as timeless. This led me to write my own dark fairytale. It might come as a surprise, but there is no happy ending to my story. Of course, the music needed to fit the fantastic story. ‚Vom Gråb im Moos‘ turned out to be much more playful than the rest of the songs on this album and shows a new side of Gràb. We added choirs sung by Thomas Helm and Markus Stock of Emyprium, and lots of dulcimer actiob of course, but we also used a viola, acoustic guitars, and even a flute. Hell, that final part of ‚Vom Gråb im Moos‘ gives me such strong vibes from Ulver’s ‚Bergtatt‘ album!“
