US black metal quintet NIXIL has shared a new track and music video, Abyss Unto Abyss, from their upcoming album, From the Wound Spilled Forth Fire. Abyss Unto Abyss is the third single to be taken from their sophomore full-length, with the music video once again produced by the Baltimore, Maryland band: NIXIL – ABYSS UNTO ABYSS (OFFICIAL VIDEO) – YouTube
Speaking on the single and music video release, NIXIL comments: „Abyss Unto Abyss was written during a bout of intense insomnia resulting in a state of comatose lucidity. It is a channeled poem describing how to use these sometimes maddening altered states of consciousness to trigger personal evolution and explore those vast territories beyond our mundane existence.”
