Prophecy Fest proudly announces MISÞYRMING to perform at this year’s edition. These black metal innovators have previously been confirmed as the backing band for Nergal performing BEHEMOTH’s „Sventevith (Storming Near the Baltic)“ album. Now a full show of the fast rising Icelandic band in the Balve Cave has been added to the roster.
Martin Koller comments: „It was a logical step to invite Misþyrming to play at Prophecy Fest that has also been requested by many of our visitors after the announcement of the ‚Sventevith‘ show“, the fest’s founder writes. „Whenever these Icelanders go berserk on stage, their ecstatic live performances rank among the finest that black metal currently has to offer.“
Prophecy Fest 2026 will bring dark, forward thinking music with an attitude to one of the world’s most fascinating cultural locations, the legendary, natural Balve Cave. The three-day event will commence on Thursday, September 3 and it will conclude with a final concert starting before midnight of Saturday, September 5. The price for a 3-Day-Pass 2026 remains at 149 € (plus 10% service charge).
