RESURRECTED premiere the nightmarish lyric video ‚Forever Damned‚ as the next brutal advance single taken from their forthcoming new album „Perpetual„. The eighth full-length of the German death metal veterans has been slated for release on April 10, 2026.

RESURRECTED comment: „I wrote ‚Forever Damned‘ as one of the first songs in the wake of the release of ‚Resurrected‘ in 2017“, guitarist Thomas Granzow reveals. „I had just come out of cancer rehabilitation and I was anything but sure as to how creating songs for the next album would turn out. This happened to me although I already had a very strong and productive new songwriting phase even before ‚Resurrected‘ had hit the stores. At that point, ‚Forever Damned‘ existed only as a collection of guitar parts and some very rough ideas for the drums — not to mention the complete absence of a vocal line. Even in studio, I was still not sure whether this track would actually make it onto the album. Slowly, piece by piece, everything fell into place, and in the end, we even picked ‚Forever Damned‘ as one of the advance tracks for ‚Perpetual‘. This song has everything that defines Resurrected: relentless blast beats, pounding double-bass attacks, technical guitar riffs, a touch of groove, and a vocal line that sounds downright inhuman.
