The current RYKER’S release ‚Ours was a noble cause‘ sounds dark and mean, so the assumption is obvious that RYKER’S isn’t well known for being humors and having fun. That this is not quite so, proves the current 7″ Man Of War. Musically and lyrically, this is good, clean fun without drifting 
into embarrassing territory. Again, the Kassel Crew is supported by Rich O’Brien from Darkside NYC – a perfect fit? Just give this one a listen…

Chris: ‚We had already finished the song in the context of the last disc, but it would not have fit into the concept at all and led the serious and dark claim of ‚Ours was a noble cause‘ ad absurdum. Nevertheless, the song is fun and is rather to be seen as a tongue-in-cheek homage to a special band – you’ll find it out for yourself. And yes, we have a sense of humor, even if it might not be everyone’s cup of tea 😉.‘
