Formed in early 2023, Search Warrant spent their first year doing what most hardcore bands do, figuring out who they are and who belongs in the room. By 2024, the lineup locked in with Brendan on vocals, Kyle and Adam on guitar, Josh on bass, and Nik on drums.
In early 2025, the band dropped their debut 7″, Unlawful Demonstration, released through To Live A Lie Records and Blind Rage Records. It was a statement – Raw, direct, and deeply rooted in the sounds of early 2000s Boston hardcore. The A-Team, Stop and Think, Mental, the Rival Mob, and Lockin‘ Out Records.
Search Warrant plays hardcore the way it was meant to be played. No breakdowns. No filler. No apologies. Just hard, fast, and honest music from a band that clearly grew up on the right records. The band will release a 4 song LP Promo via WAR Records this Spring. Four tracks recorded, mixed and mastered by Trevor Vaughan (Wound Man, Rival Mob, Clear) that make the case for everything the full record promises to deliver. The promo also includes a cover of The A-Team’s „Fall On Your Sword,“ a nod to one of the most important bands in their DNA and a clear signal of where Search Warrant‘s roots run deepest.
