SLAGMAUR comment: „With ‚Ritual Dogs‘, we continue the multi-layered theme of ‚Hulders Ritual‘ by drawing from a folk legend from the forests of Varghiet in the mountainous area of Fosen in the Trøndelag“, General Gribbsphiiser reveals. „In this tale, twelve black-clad figures are observed standing in a circle and worshipping a dog, positioned at the center. The story became the gateway to ‚Ritual Dogs‘. This track is also intended as a tribute to our sadly late band mascot: a heartfelt memento for Troy Nagel Kirkebrenner!“
