What began in Münster in 2011 as a passion for vinyl and independent music has grown into one of Germany’s most enduring and unconventional indie labels: This Charming Man Records will celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2026 – and it’s going to do so in a fittingly loud way.Founded with a clear commitment to vinyl and the power of subculture, TCM has built up an impressive roster over the past decade and a half. Names like Die Nerven, Kadavar, Fjort, Messer, Clowns, The Tidal Sleep, Space Chaser, Heads, and Mountain Witch exemplify a label that has never followed the mainstream but has always gone its own way – panning punk, hardcore, stoner, doom, and everything in between. Through international partners such as Cargo Records, Cobraside (US), and Code 7 (UK), TCM has carried the Münster-based label’s philosophy across the globe.

The Tidal Sleep (who have actually disbanded but are playing a “Vorstellungskraft” show especially for the anniversary)
No Shelter (death metal/hardcore)
R.O.S.A. (chainpunk from Berlin)
Freiburg (German punk with dachshund in their blood)
G I F T (Bulldozer Chaos Core)
Park & Riot (hardcore/punk/noise duo from Leipzig)
& a secret act—this much we can reveal: the band was an early partner of the label and will put together a special show, if everyone’s on board…
