Iranian black / death metallers Trivax reveal the new track „Operation Ramadan.“ The track is the first to be revealed from the band’s highly anticipated third album, The Great Satan, set for international release on May 30th via Osmose Productions: TRIVAX „Operation Ramadan“ (Official Video Clip)
Trivax unleash their magnum opus and third full-length album, The Great Satan. Not to be mistaken with a typical black metal title, The Great Satan is a bold statement on the dark side of Islam and Middle Eastern turmoil, particularly the devastating 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, led by the mullahs.
The cover depicts Ayatollah Khomeini as The Great Satan, responsible for relentless oppression, as well as countless deaths – including children (as explored in „Operation Ramadan“) through religious extremism and deceit. Burning mosques in the background of the artwork reinforce the band’s resentful vision. This is no fantasy Satanism, but real-world darkness.
Musically and thematically, the album embodies rebellion, violence, and ecstasy, unafraid to say what many so-called extreme bands will not. Beyond its fearless concept, The Great Satan is TRIVAX’s most dynamic and sophisticated work to date, with razor-sharp production by Samuel Turbit at Ritual Sound.
This is a statement of radical extreme art. „لا أرباب لا أسياد / No Gods, No Masters!“
