YEAR OF THE COBRA comment: „I really like the feel of this song“, vocalist and bass player Amy Barrysmith writes. „I feel like you can really taste the salt water and feel the cold, misty air. Jon’s drums pound like waves smashing against a seawall. It’s almost like a sensory overload. The story of the song also brings a lot of imagery in my head and I really focused on making my voice sound like it was a low chant, but each time the chorus ‚Full Sails‘ comes in, it just gets bigger and bigger. Playing this song live is also really satisfying because you see everyone’s head just start moving along with you, like we’re all stuck on this ship together.“
