YEAR OF THE COBRA comment: „We had written this song during a rehearsal jam we had a long time ago“, vocalist and bass player Amy Barrysmith explains. „Originally, it was called ‚The Chase‘ and had completely different lyrics and melody, but once we road tested it, we cut the song after the third show. It just wasn’t working at all. We shelved it for a while because I had a hard time breaking away from the melody that I initially created, but luckily, time heals all sounds, and bad melodies – as in this case. I really like how it finally turned out. This track was a strong contender to be the first single“
